Mission Life

Working in the missions everyday is not as easy as you may think especially for the Chumash indians who lived in the Mission Santa Barbara having to learn a new religion and the Spanish way of life. On a daily basis everybody would attend church, then work, eat, and sleep. In the meantime while the Native Americans were working, the priest in the mission would baptise the Native Americans, say prayers, and teach bible lessons. All of the Chumah tribe would get baptised and learn Christian religion.
